and then we have the cookout and they'll come over. and we'll have a couple other people so it's not too awkward for anyone. and then to make them feel comfortable we'll ask a bunch of questions about what the kids have been up to and we'll pretend that we're really interested. and then we'll wait for someone to bring up danny while the kids are playing. and maybe that'll go on for a little while and after that.. they'll go home.
